Policies and conditions

We'd rather you know everything before booking than find it out when it's time to pay. Here is what applies during your stay.

Hours

If you arrive after 10:00 p. m.

The guesthouse closes at that time and whoever is on duty is already off for the night. If you need to check in later, it can be arranged, but you'll need to give C$360 o US$10 for getting them up to let you in.

It's not a fine — it's that someone is interrupting their rest to receive you. Let us know ahead of time and we'll have it sorted before you arrive.

Meals

Breakfast

It is included in the rate and served from 7:00 a. m. to 9:00 a. m., every day.

If you have to leave before that time, we will pack it to go. Just bring a container and let us know the night before.

Lunch and dinner

Not included, but we cook them if you order. They cost C$180 o US$5 per meal, and need to be requested by 11:00 a. m. the same day. The kitchen closes at 8:00 p. m.

Food in the rooms

We ask that you do not bring food into the rooms. That is what the dining area and the terrace are for, and they are much nicer besides.

Air conditioning

All rooms have air conditioning, and it is meant to be used at night.

If you stay at the guesthouse during the day, you can use it up to 2 hours at no cost. If you need more time, there is a surcharge of C$180 o US$5 per day.

A favour with the remote

Please use only the on/off button. Pressing the other buttons throws the unit off, and afterwards it won't cool properly, neither for you nor for whoever comes next.

Hot water

The showers have hot water. For safety, there are usage instructions posted in the bathroom area: read them before your first shower.

House rules

This is a family home, not a hotel. Most things are common sense, but just in case:

Be mindful of other guests' rest, especially at night.
The common areas — terrace, dining room, garden — belong to everyone. Use them freely and leave them as you found them.
Smoking inside the rooms is not allowed.
Visitors should be announced at the front.

Bookings and rates

Bookings are made on WhatsApp at 8382 7607. We confirm availability, the room and the rate before you travel.

Rates depend on the room, the date and how long you stay, which is why we don't publish them: we'd rather give you the exact number for your case than an approximate one that changes later. If your stay is a month or longer, a considerably lower monthly rate applies.

Wi-Fi

There is Wi-Fi throughout the house, at no cost. We give you the network and password at check-in.

Valuables

We recommend not leaving cash, documents or electronics in plain sight in the room. If you need to store something, talk to us and we will sort it out.
